The Youth Agency and the New Milford High School Medical Technology class are pleased to announce that the Health Fair is coming to the High School this Thursday, May 23rd 2013. The day is put together to educate the students at the High School on how to live healthy life styles. There will be 30 community organizations in attendance to provide valuable information to the students. This years vendors include, Dental Associates, Family & Children’s Aid, HVCASA, CT Children’s Medical Center, a healthy alternatives snack tent by the Maxx catering team, Health Dept, NMPD, State Police, Phys-Ed, and many many more.

Counseling Department
A quick update on the current Counseling Programs available to area teens and families:
*Parenting Class, Monday evenings until June 3, 5:30 – 7:30pm.
*Monthly Saturday Parent Workshops. Next workshop: June 8th: Eat Smart, Play Hard, Have Fun! Free for Parents local Parents.
*High School Support Group runs every Friday at the Maxx. (High School aged Girls)
*Sarah Noble Support Group runs weekly.
*SMS 7/8 Grade Girls Circle Group
*Crisis Intervention – Ongoing
* Anger Management Classes for ages 14-18. 4-5:30pm at the Youth Agency.
* Summer Thursdays! Free enrichment program: grades 4-8; Program runs for 6 weeks/July 11-August 15
