6th Grade Maxx Dance
Youth Ambassador Program
The Youth Agency is busy collaborating with the Fire Marshall’s Office, the Board of Education, and the NM Police Department on developing a new program in town. The Youth Ambassador program will provide leadership opportunities to New Milford’s youth by engaging community youth to take ownership of, and make responsible decisions for their own lives. Through positive modeling to their peers, via various youth-driven outreach efforts, members of the program will gain valuable leadership, presentation, career exposure, planning & organizational, business, and life skills!

Support Groups
The Youth Agency is recruiting for two upcoming support groups:
7th and 8th grade after school Girls Group starts Tuesday January 14, 2014
Middle school life can be challenging- Girls group is a safe place to get support from other girls and just have fun. Girls are invited to join this lightly structured group for socializing, discussion and activities.
Girls group is every other Tuesday starting January 14th; 2:30-4:30.
Youth Agency bus pickup at Schaghticoke Middle School at 2:15. Parent pickup at the Youth Agency at 4:30. For more information or to sign-up, contact Laura. Laura@youthagency.org or (860) 354-0047.
Girls are welcome to come once to visit before committing to the group!
High School girls group is BACK! This group will start on Mondays starting on Monday, Jan 27th. The theme will be about KINDNESS, towards ourselves and others. We will look at ways to cope and cooperate with the world around us. Field trips, community projects and other opportunities will be provided. Contact Stacey@youthagency.org.
