Children and Anxiety: Helping your worried child worry less
Workshop Description: Do you have a little worrier at home? This presentation will focus on ways to decrease your child’s anxiety. Lauren will offer strategies for helping manage the anxiety. She will also discuss ways to simplify life at home in order to help raise a confident, self-assured child. This workshop focuses on children ages 5-12, but the strategies can also be helpful with older and younger children.

Presenter: Lauren Wolfe, M.S., N.C.C, L.P.C.:
Bio: Lauren Wolfe provides individual and family counseling and runs on going
parenting groups. She specializes in anxiety, social skills, parenting support and body image
issues. Lauren loves the work she does and feels privileged to work with many dedicated
parents and inspiring young people. Lauren lives with her husband and two children in
Newtown.
