The New Milford Youth Agency and the New Milford MCCA are presenting a free screening of The Anonymous People on March 30th @ 6:00 PM at the Maxx, 94 Railroad St. New Milford CT.

The Anonymous People is a feature documentary film about the 23.5 million Americans living in long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. The Anonymous People shines a light on the personal and societal value of recovery through the moving stories of people who have gone public with their recovery.

We are excited to have Filmmaker Greg Williams attending this screening and be doing a Q&A after the film. Greg Williams is a person in long-term recovery from drug and alcohol
addiction. He is also an award winning documentary filmmaker, and an accomplished producer and editor with broadcast experience on various ESPN, A&E, Documentary Channel, and History Channel projects. Greg is a public recovery advocate who has spoken to legislative bodies and has been featured in news stories surrounding youth addiction recovery by ABC World News, NBC News, Family Circle Magazine, and The Hartford Courant. In 2010 Greg was awarded a Silver Telly Award for Central Pride, the story of a grassroots prevention and recovery support program in a Bridgeport, CT inner city high school.
