Skate Park

The town of New Milford built its skatepark in the fall of 2006.  The park is run and maintained by the Parks & Recreation Department.  The park is conveniently located on Young’s Field and is open from dawn until dusk.  If you have any questions please call New Milford Parks & Recreation at 355-6050.

SKATE PARK RULES-SKATERS TAKE NOTICE!

Skating can cause serious physical injury or death if skaters do not wear helmets and other safety gear or do not learn to skate and stop safely. Persons using the skate park are strongly advised to wear helmet, elbow pads and kneepads.

Skating is a hazardous activity. SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK. When you enter this facility you assume all risks and responsibilities that are inherent to extreme sports activities which could result in serious physical injury or death to yourself, others, and/or property.

 This is an all-age, all-ability level skate park
 Please be respectful of other skaters
 Know your limits! Skate at your own risk
 Hours of Operation are regular park hours (dawn to dusk), weather permitting
 All organized events must have written approval by New Milford Parks and Recreation Commission
 Skating is restricted to the skate park only
 No pets allowed in skate park area
 Dispose of trash in appropriate trash receptacles

 articles
 New Milford Parks and Recreation reserves the right to restrict access due to crowded conditions
 Skateboards & Rollerblades Only
 No unauthorized equipment, obstacles or apparatus may be brought into skate area without
 permission of the Parks & Recreation department.
 Spectators are encouraged to stay out of the skate area are and are not allowed on equipment.
