Community Service
Volunteerism is a valuable part of the Youth Agency’s success. Many of our volunteers are court ordered for minor, youthful offenses. Other students volunteer to help build their college resume or to be involved in positive activities. Volunteers are treated like employees, they must go through an interview and are accepted on a case by case basis.
Students must be 13-18 and demonstrate the ability to work with others safely and follow Youth Agency guidelines. Qualified youths are considered for activities such as Bike Day, seasonal programs at the Maxx, trail clean up projects and community events. Reasonable efforts are made to accommodate special abilities and interests.
