Community Service
The New Milford Youth Agency runs a community service program for New Milford residents under 18. Acceptance into the program is on a case by case situation. Those who qualify for the program complete their community service under the direct supervision of Agency staff, by assisting in a number of seasonal activities that the Youth Agency sponsors throughout the year. Such activities include: Maple Syruping, farming, holiday wreath making, greenhouse upkeep, general maintenance, bike repair for Bike Day, trails upkeep, etc. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the special abilities and preference of the individual.
