Snacks will be provided, and parents can pickup at the Maxx at 4:30. Registration is required; contact the YA @ (860) 354-0047 or email Laura@youthagency.org.
The New Milford Youth & Police Community Enrichment Project is beginning on Monday April 30th from 2:30-5:30pm at the Maxx. This grant funded project will provide local High School aged youth the opportunity to socialize with members of the police force at the town’s local teen center (the Maxx), where together they will have pool tournaments, ping pong tournaments, watch movies, and play video games together. During these sessions, Police Officers will recruit 8-10 youth for a follow-up Enrichment team. This team will participate in a High Ropes leadership training, go on Hikes, as well as work with local Police Officers on the construction of a new fishing dock at Sega Meadows park, which was newly acquired by the Town of New Milford. Spots will be limited for the Enrichment Team.
